LOGO / BRANDING
Being employed most of her career, the owner Pam wanted to finally be independent so she started Cygnet Interior Design. Cygnet means baby swan and Pam said she was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Ugly Duckling”.
Even though I wanted to subliminally reference brush strokes or a swatch booklet with the feathers, I didn’t want the mark to be too literal.
So, I simply designed it around her saying “when people see an ugly duckling (their space), I see a swan”.
